If you used Family Sharing when downloading the app the first time tap My Purchases after doing this. You can filter it by All apps or just the ones Not on This iPhone. Tap Browse at the bottom and then tap On My iPhone or On My iPad depending on which device youre using.
This list will become cluttered over time especially if you download and try out a lot of free apps. For example if you are downloading a photo through your web browser on iPhone the downloaded picture will automatically download and put in photos app on your iPhone. Just tap the cloud button and itll download right to your iPhone again.
On your iPhone open the App Store app and tap Updates in the lower right corner. Then go to Files app tap Browse at the bottom-right corner tap on the Downloads folder. To see which apps music and other content you bought look at your purchase history.
The installed ones have the Open button on the right and the ones you deleted have a small cloud icon. Once you tap on the Purchased tab youll see a list of all of the apps youve purchased and ones that arent on your phone at the moment. You can also see the payment method and the device that you used to buy the item.

If you are on iOS 13 go to Settings Safari Downloads and check what is your download location it should be On my iPhone. On the other hand if you are downloading a PDF file it will ask you to save download and will. Now youll see a list like this.
To preview only the deleted apps tap on the Not on this iPhone tab instead. In my case I had totally forgotten about an app called Mini Metro. The list under Locations will vary depending on which apps you have installed but your device will always have an On My Device listing.
Tap on it to select it and get direct access to your list of previously downloaded apps. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Thats it its that easy.
